A 5k, a 10k, climbing mountains, cycling the country or simply wanting to change your body image. I have experienced the effort required to train for those goals and it can be tough without someone to help you plan and keep you motivated. Thats where a personal trainer can help!
In 2002 I trained for my first half marathon. A few years later the Great North Run was only 1 of 5 events I was training for that year. I competed in Tough Mudder (and have done nine more times since!), I backpacked through the Brecon Beacons, carrying a 15kg weight, climbing Pen Y Fan the tallest peak in the Brecon Beacons just like the SAS. I completed the Three peaks challenge. Climbing, Snowdon, Ben Nevis and Scafell Pike in under 24 hours and I cycled 140 miles coast to coast from Whitehaven to Sunderland.
Anything is possible. Thats why I believe in setting goals which take us beyond our comfort zone, to test the body, the spirit and the mind and become the best version of ourselves.
So, let’s get started!
Correcting your posture will reduce stress and strain on your body. You'll stand taller, move better, and feel less fatigue.
Your core is part of almost every move you make. Strong core muscles act as a stabiliser, making moving safer and more efficient.
Good mobility allows your body to move the way it was designed to move - pain free and with a good range of motion.
Strength training helps you develop strong bones, manage weight and help you do everyday activities better and easier.
Improving your cardio will strengthen your stamina and endurance so you can work harder for longer and burn more calories.
